DAY 10 - PORT MORESBY CULTURAL DAY MONDAY 16 SEPTEMBER

Last night was spent enjoying a celebration dinner with all the porters and support staff that the trekkers have spent the past 9 days trekking Kokoda with. They also enjoyed the comfort of the 5-star Hilton hotel, luxury beds and a hot shower. This morning, they enjoyed a sleep in although were up early enough to make the most of the buffet breakfast at the Hilton. Ensuring they have plenty of energy before boarding a bus for the day sightseeing in Port Moresby. They visited a local PNG school, and a few got their faces painted with the PNG flag before heading to the waterfront for lunch. Tonight, they will have dinner together for their last night before heading back to Australia tomorrow.
