DAY 5 - KAGI CULTURAL DAY

Wednesday 11 September

Some of the trekkers enjoyed a sleep in today as the others were up to learn more about village life. They spent time amongst the locals, experiencing local village culture. The students were split into groups and experienced daily life on the Kokoda track. After lunch a few had a rest and in the afternoon the village came together with the students and parents for some more activities. The weather has been beautiful, and the kids are having a blast. The clouds are just starting to come over while everyone is getting ready for dinner. After dinner they will experience a cultural sing-sing. Many of the students commented that today has been their favourite day so far. It truly has been a great day for everyone.
